As animation directors explore longer film formats, the trend is causing headaches for producers, distributors, festival programmers, and educators.
The festival, which takes place next month, will also present a major retrospective on Satoshi Kon.
The event includes the U.S. premiere of Claude Barras’s ‘Savages’ and the East Coast premiere of Michel Hazanavicius’s ‘The Most Precious of Cargoes.’
